Dr Rob Cumming - Dentist
Rob, who is originally from a Dairy Farm in the Manawatu, graduated from the University of Otago and moved to Christchurch where he started his Dentistry career at a practice in the city. Prior to becoming a Dentist Rob was a Physiotherapist and enjoys all things health. As a dentist he has a passion for his craft and provides dental care at the highest possible level whilst adopting a relaxed and caring approach to his patients. As numerous patients will attest to, he is gentle and caring and has a keen interest in educating patients to maintain their own oral health and wellbeing.
Rob dedicates time each year to attend conferences and courses to ensure his skills, knowledge and service is at the forefront of dental care. He has a keen interest in all aspects of general dentistry including wisdom teeth extractions and is now able to offer IV sedation.
Rob lives in Halswell, Christchurch, with his wife Georgie and children Hudson and Miller. In his free time likes to get out into nature as much as possible and spend time with his family and friends.

Dr Tony Chiu - Dentist
After graduating from the University of Otago, Dr Tony Chiu, despite growing up in Auckland, decided to stay in the South Island for its natural beauty and the down-to-earth nature of its people. Tony spent his first year practicing in Oamaru, before returning to Dunedin for the next 8 years. This was where he honed his general dentistry skills, especially his passion for root canal treatment. Tony always endeavours to deliver treatment that is not only of utmost quality but also make the whole dental experience as comfortable and pain-free for everyone.
Tony understands that the fear of dentistry is not knowing what is happening most of the time, hence he strives to place great communication in the forefront of anything he does. He truly believes building good rapport, builds trust, and trust is the foundation of all great dental experiences. You’ll have to come and experience this yourself!
Outside of dentistry, Tony is an avid reader and photographer (being a wedding photographer one day is his dream). In his free time, he likes to look after little plants and tend his garden. Tony lives locally in Prebbleton with his wife.

Dr Elliot Stevens - Dentist
Elliot started her career as a dental assistant in her hometown of Dunedin in 2006. She completed her BDS, graduating from Otago with Distinction in 2013, and has worked in Dunedin, Hamilton, Tauranga and Christchurch. In addition to providing all aspects of general dentistry, fillings, implants, crowns, bridges, extractions and dentures, she is passionate about providing gentle dentistry, helping anxious or apprehensive patients have more positive dental experiences. She offers both oral and intravenous sedation allowing "sleep dentistry" to make the experience more pleasant. Elliot is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, the New Zealand Sedation Society and the Forensic Dental Society. She is AADFA certified and uses specialized training to provide assessments for the overall health of the face from chin to forehead, using injectable treatments to treat bruxism/ TMD, chronic headaches, facial pain and soften lines affecting the upper face
Elliot loves her job as a dentist. When she's not at home with her family and her dogs, she enjoys helping people improve their dental health and taking time to listen to what each patient wants and needs.
She has recently joined Prebbleton Dental and is proud to be part of the team because she believes they are providing something exciting, excellent dentistry and high-quality care and customer service for their local community.

Kelly Higgins - Dental Hygienist
Kelly graduated from AUT in 2019 and has international experience in both public and private sectors, having previously been a dental nurse in England for 5 years before moving to NZ to do her oral health degree in 2016.
She enjoys all aspects of her scope but especially relishes the challenges of oral health education and complex treatments.
In her spare time, Kelly can be found snowboarding or trying to play golf. She also loves long sunny weekends camping and adventuring with her family.

Kelsey Trotter - Dental Hygienist
Kelsey has been within dentistry for the last 13 years. Before gaining a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Otago in 2019, she worked as a dental assistant which is when she discovered her passion for preventative dental care. Since graduating,
Kelsey has worked both locally and in Australia.
Kelsey grew up on Banks Peninsula and loves the wonderful community of Selwyn.In her spare time Kelsey enjoys disc golf and all things music-related.

Joanna Lee - Dental Technician
Joanna is our registered Clinical Dental Technician with over 10 years of experience. Joanna specialises in dentures and other removable prosthesis and brings to the Prebbleton Dental team her gentle and kind nature.
Joanna was born in Wellington and raised in Christchurch and completed her Batchelor of Dental technology in Dunedin 2012. Her love of both science and art is what keeps her striving for perfection when it comes to bringing smiles to people.
Joanna works at Prebbleton Dental and the Christchurch Hospital and outside of work enjoys spending time with her family and friends visiting local cafes and being outdoors.”

Rebecca (Becky) Moir - Dental Assistant
Becky is originally from Jersey in the Channel Islands. She has been in New Zealand 11 years now.
Becky has been a dental assistant for 20 years and qualified as a dental nurse at Guys hospital London in 2004. She then went onto do a post grad qualification in oral healthcare and SAAD sedation course.
Outside of work Becky loves spending time with her family and her pets including a gorgeous herd of alpacas!

Corinne Burch - Dental Assistant
Corinne is originally from Switzerland. She has been in NZ for 15 years now.
Corinne was training for being a Dental assistant back in her home country 30 years ago. Since then she has been working in different jobs and started again to work as a DA at Prebbleton Dental in February 2023.
She is also a qualified Sports therapist.
Corinne is living local in Prebbleton with her teenage daughter.

Corinne trained as a Dental Assistant for the NZ Army over 20 years ago after moving to Waiouru.
She has worn many hats while working in the industry ranging from a Receptionist to Management but her passion is in the surgery assisting.
Corinne has a love for all things dentistry and loves to join the patients on a pleasant journey from start to finish.
Corinne is a mum to two teenagers and three fur babies so outside of work they keep her very busy. She has a love of books so is often found reading a book while enjoying a nice glass of wine.

Olivia Edge - Dental Assistant
Liv was born in Christchurch and bought up on a sheep and beef farm on the Banks Peninsula.
She enjoys learning about people, having a good laugh as well as being with family and animals.
Liv had a placement at Halswell Dental whilst still at school and this sparked her keen interest in the dental field.
She started at Prebbleton Dental in June 2024 and has learnt at quick speed all that is involved in being a Dental Assistant.

Bidi Fozard - Dental Assistant
Bidi started her career in the dental industry when she lived in Sydney in 2013. She loves how busy the job can be and enjoys all aspects of the role.
Outside of dental Bidi also works as a professional family photographer.
Her weekends are spent enjoying spending time with her husband Daniel, and two boys William and Henry. She likes exploring food markets, sipping on great wine and cooking amazing meals.

Georgie Cumming - Practice Manager
Georgie, originally from Mid Canterbury, graduated from Otago University with a degree in Physiotherapy. After many years living and working abroad in Melbourne and London, she returned to New Zealand to support her husband, Rob, as he embarked on his career in Dentistry.
With his qualification complete, Rob and Georgie settled in Christchurch to be close to family. Georgie worked in Occupational Rehabilitation prior to joining Prebbleton Dental as the Practice Manager in April 2023.
Georgie cares deeply about the health and the well-being of the patients at Prebbleton Dental, ensuring all patients feel cared for and listened to. Fantastic customer service, honest communication and cohesive teamwork are at the forefront of Georgie’s priorities when it comes to ensuring patients are provided with a quality dental experience.
Georgie lives nearby in Halswell with Rob and their two busy boys, Hudson and Miller. Finding a balance between quality family time and a busy work life is a constant for Georgie, one she wouldn’t have any other way.

Olivia has worked in the dental industry for 5 years, she was scouted for her first job within dental while working in a supermarket on the checkout.
She enjoys chatting and getting to know our patients and trying her best to create a comfortable environment that can be daunting for some.
Outside of work Olivia enjoys spending time with her family, friends, fiancé and her two cats Poppy and Alfie!
Olivia also enjoys finding new food spots around Christchurch, painting, and trying new hobbies.

Odette is part of the reception team at Prebbleton Dental. She is the friendly face you will see at the front desk on a Wednesday.
Odette comes with a wealth of knowledge as she has worked in the dental environment since moving to Christchurch 25 years ago.
Odette has a passion for working with people and building long term relationships with patients.
